“Τα 50ά Δημήτρια, ένα φεστιβάλ-θεσμός για τη Θεσσαλονίκη, ξετυλίγουν, αναπτύσσουν και επιχειρούν να μεταμορφώσουν την πόλη σε ένα μεγάλο εργοτάξιο πολιτισμού. Πιστά στο νεωτερικό, κοσμοπολίτικο και εξωστρεφές πνεύμα, που ειδικά τα τελευταία χρόνια βλέπουμε να προσδίδει στη Θεσσαλονίκη στοιχεία μητρόπολης νέων και πρωτοποριακών πράξεων και ιδεών, τα φετινά 50ά Δημήτρια, σε πείσμα της δεινής οικονομικής συγκυρίας, φιλοδοξούν να φέρουν στην πόλη μας στοιχεία και δράσεις που θα τη μεταμορφώσουν σε πανελλαδικό, αλλά και διεθνή προορισμό.”
