Περίληψη Εργαστηρίου / Workshop Summary:

Ποιος ορίζεται ως ξένος; Πώς και γιατί παίρνει κάποιος αυτήν την ταυτότητα; Ποιος καλείται ξένος και από ποιους; Χρησιμοποιώντας θεατρικά εργαλεία, διερευνούμε την έννοια του διαφορετικού ανθρώπου που βρίσκεται κοντά μας και την κατάσταση του «αγνώστου» που εν δυνάμει θα μπορούσε να βρεθεί ο καθένας από εμάς. Ο «φιλοξενούμενος» και ο «οικοδεσπότης» είναι ρόλοι που όλοι έχουμε παίξει. Μέσα από αυτούς, παρατηρούμε το ανοίκειο που έλκει και απωθεί, που εντυπωσιάζει και τρομάζει. Σε αυτό το εργαστήρι συμμετέχουμε ενεργά, αλληλεπιδρούμε, και συνπορευόμαστε σε μια απόπειρα προσέγγισης του Άλλου μέσα από τον Εαυτό: του ξένου (ανά)μεσά μας…

Who is defined as a stranger? How and why someone obtains this identity? Who is called the “stranger” and by whom? Using theatrical tools, we explore the notion of being different among others and the condition of being unknown, a position any of us could potentially find ourselves in. The “guest” and the “host” are two roles that all of us have played in our lives. Through these roles we observe the “unfamiliar” which causes curiosity and repulsion, admiration and fear at the same time. In this workshop everyone actively participates, interacts and wanders with the others in an attempt to approach the Other through the Self: the stranger among/inside us…

Χαρά Αδαμίδου (γεν. 1991, Θεσσαλονίκη) & Μορφούλα Στεργίου (γεν. 1991, Χαλκίδα):

Γνωριστήκαμε κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών μας στο τμήμα Θεάτρου της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών του Α.Π.Θ. Το κοινό ενδιαφέρον μας για το θέατρο ως μέσο έκφρασης και δημιουργίας με διάφορες κοινωνικές ομάδες, σύντομα μας οδήγησε σε συνεργασίες εντός και εκτός των πλαισίων του Πανεπιστημίου. Έχουμε συνεργαστεί με τις δημοτικές παιδικές βιβλιοθήκες Θεσσαλονίκης και Σερρών κατά τη διάρκεια του project «Future library». Για τρία συνεχόμενα έτη συμμετείχαμε ενεργά στο σχεδιασμό και στην υλοποίηση των παραστάσεων του Πρότυπου Πειραματικού σχολείου «Αλέξανδρος Δελμούζος» του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Από το 2014 εισηγούμαστε τα σεμινάρια θεάτρου για ενήλικες στο Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο «Βαβυλωνία».

Chara Adamidou (born 1991 in Thessaloniki) & Morfoula Stergiou (born 1991 in Chalkida):

We met during our studies at the Theatre Department of the School of Fine Arts in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Our common interest in theatre, as a means for expression and creativity for various social groups soon led us into working in this field of theatre within and beyond the university. We have cooperated with municipal public libraries for children in Thessaloniki and Serres within the framework of the ‘Future Library Project’. For three consecutive years we planed and organised the performances of the experimental high school ‘Alexandros Delmouzos’. Since 2014, we have been teaching theatre to adults at the cultural centre ‘Babylonia’.
